We're liking the idea of Volkswagen's latest initiative in India for the country’s festive season, which runs from October through to November.
Volkswagen have come up with a‘mega auto-carnival’ offering a myriad of benefits, assured gifts and test-drives galore.

Customers have the chance to access some of the best deals on new car purchases, several financing options and other festive incentives and gifts.
The company is also offering roadside assistance in their after sales service package, plus great offers on genuine company accessories and merchandise.
Cash benefits and free insurance on certain models are also on offer.
Volksfest 2014 runs from 8th to 31st October so it's quite a long promotion, no doubt designed to capitalise upon what Volkswagen hope will be an expansive and celebratory mood amongst potential customers.
Whilst other countries may not have such long festive periods to tie in to, the concept is certainly transferable; it's all about good packaging and promotion to communicate that something special and not-to-be missed is going on.
